Episode 8 - The Shadow Stalker (Part 2)

Cian, Ivy, Polly and Haydon join me to finish off the story of Jessica Law and her battle with the Aztec god of the wind: Ehecatl. Will she survive? Episode 6 - Jack's Great Bildungsroman (Part 2)

Ivy, Haydon, Polly and I complete the tale of Jack Ford while showing a complete lack of understanding of the sanitation facilities of Victorian London. Will he be reunited with his mother? Will he escape the clutches of the evil Edward Bartholomew? Will Lily be safe in the clock tower of Big Ben? Listen and find out.

Episode 5 - Jack Ford's Great Bildungsroman (Part 1)

Ivy, Polly, Haydon and I get to grips with something completely different - a bildungsroman. You'll have to listen to find out what that is, but we make one up! It's the tale of poor Victorian orphan Jack Ford and his escape from the harsh treatment of Mr Edward Bartholomew to the streets of London. Cian, Haydon, Polly and I are off to Solar System B3X, via New Jersey. Join us as we invent the story of bioengineer Ryan Edwards and his plan to hijack a weapons shipment bound for an alien world. Can he do it? Will he save the aliens? Will we be able to think up good names for his accomplices? Listen and find out. In our second episode, we dream up the Crossworth Academy (a rural secondary independent school in the English countryside) and its newest pupil, outspoken New Yorker Lucy Lavender. She investigates a mystery surrounding the kidnapping of the Head teacher's brother and his attempts to raise money for the ransom through the school budget. Welcome to Shott Stories, the podcast where we make up stories.
Every week we pick a genre and make up a story that you can use for inspiration in your writing. One week it could be mystery, then it could be epic fantasy. Every week, something new.
This is our first ever episode and the first time any of us have done this, so we found our way through our favourite stories and then concocted the tale of Edward Paul.
